Smart Forehead Thermometer is always on standby for your measurement. Slightly press on the button for wakeup and immedicately press again for reading in a second. It works with Comper Health App to visualize the body temperature ranges and trends.

All materials used are medical biomaterial with good biocompatibility and meet environmental standards of RoHs（Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances).
Each of these two infrared thermometers have their pros and cons. As discussed, the ear thermometer may provide extremely accurate readings with older children who do not mind feeling the thermometer in their ears. For parents with younger children, the forehead thermometer is ideal as it is gentle and non-intrusive. Comper is also developing a dual-mode thermometer, which will be suitable use for all ages.
Take your families temperature when they are well at morning, during the day and at night to know their "average normal temperature". This is a helpful way to accurately diagnose a fever.
Firstly, ensure batteries are working and the Quick Start Guide has been followed. Comper forehead thermometer uses contact measurement method, please be sure to place the forehead thermometer against the skin, which is the center of the forehead area between the eyebrows. Some variance in readings – even consecutive on the same person – is normal. Body temperature is not static but rather can fluctuate over minutes or even seconds. A small difference in how the user holds the thermometer or a change in room temperature may also affect a reading. We recommend taking three readings and using the average of these three readings as your guide.

Different thermometers use different technology to obtain readings – whether it's measuring temperature from inside the ear, to rectal to underarm or radiated skin temperature from the forehead. Depending on the method and technology used, it's accepted that temperature results from different thermometers can vary up to + or - 0.5°C. Room temperature, bodily temperature fluctuations and other factors can also make a difference.
Comper Smart Forehead Thermometer is very easy to use. You can use it with or without Bluetooth 4.2 transmitting data. If using it as a stand-alone thermometer , what you need to do is just to turn on the thermometer, contact it against skin of your forehead center and press the button again to get the reading. The thermometer will automatically power off without operating for 1min. We recommend you to use the thermometer with Comper App, there's no complicated pairing needed, but do make sure that bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and follow in-app prompts!
The accuracy of Comper Smart Forehead Thermometer is ≤0.2℃ (0.4℉), for the range 35℃-42℃ (95℉-107.6℉).
The units displayed on the thermometer is determined by your unit configuration in your Comper App. You can change your units by going into app settings and scrolling down to "Units." From here you can choose between ℃/℉.
